Prospect United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, GA offers a Preschool program featuring Bible study, prayer, music, playground time, and a preschool academic curriculum. Our preschool day is from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. We have a staff of 16 dedicated teachers, who cherish the time they spend with their students and the families of their students. It is our desire to provide a quality, Christian program of faith, love, and support to enrich the lives of children and their families. We strive to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and security as we care for the children at our Preschool.
God has called us to serve HIM by sharing the love of Jesus Christ through an outreach ministry of early childhood education. Our school will teach the fundamentals of academics while embracing and practicing Christian faith and values. The 90 children entrusted to our care are precious in every way.

Prospect Christian Preschool

ACTIVITY FEE
An activity fee will be due with September tuition. The activity fee is $75 per year for 2’s & 3’s classes. The activity fee is $100 per year for the 4’s classes which covers the cost of graduation and caps & gowns. Activities have already been scheduled to enrich the curriculum! There will lots of events and/or visitors scheduled throughout our preschool year to help enrich our preschool curriculum!

Please Note:
We do not make up inclement weather days. We will follow Gwinnett County Public Schools for weather closings. If Gwinnett is closed or has a digital day, we will be closed. Announcements will be posted on ClassDojo.
**On Early Release Days, parents must pick up children by 11:45 am.
TOURS and REGISTRATION
Please call the director at 770-963-8885 to schedule a tour of our preschool. Registration is a first come, first serve basis. Once you decide to enroll your child, the director will accept your registration fee to hold your child’s spot in the class.
The registration fee is equal to one month’s tuition but does not count towards the monthly tuition.
Children will enroll in a class based on their age by September 1st.
Two Year Old's

Our two-year old program is designed to promote the development of readiness skills through hands-on activities & monthly themes. Key concepts will include listening, talking, vocabulary, opposites, colors, shapes, numbers, self-concept, small/large muscle control, socialization, music, art, dramatic play and creative expression. Additionally, children will be introduced to weather concepts and will participate in activity centers.
Three Year Old’s
Teacher to Student Ratio 1:5 Registration Fee: $240/$265
Tu/W/Th 9:30-1:30 ($240)

Our three-year old program is also theme based & is designed to promote positive self-esteem & learning. The children will learn about language/letters, numbers, colors, shapes, counting, sorting, positional concepts, patterning, graphing, problem solving, independent thinking, healthy habits, small/large muscle control, socialization, music, art, dramatic play, & creative expression. Three-year-olds will also participate in activity centers, learn about the weather, & will be introduced to calendar concepts this year. Cross-curricular activities are featured in this program.
Four Year Old’s/Pre-K
Teacher to Student Ratio 1:6 Registration Fee: $265 M-Th 9:30-1:30 ($265)
The Four-year-old program has been developed based on the Georgia Pre-K Program Content Standards and the Kindergarten Academic Knowledge and Skills. The fours will develop pre-reading skills through phonics as well as whole language using the Sing, Spell, Read and Write Program. They will also develop pre- writing skills with the Handwriting without Tears Program. The Fours will practice math skills such as basic addition, one to one correspondence, shape recognition and number recognition. Interaction with the teacher and other students will provide teachable moments for social skills such as sharing, kindness, responsibility, patience and respect. We will work on good manners and appropriate interactions with others as well as personal self- control. The goal of the fours program is to have your child develop the skills needed to enter Kindergarten and the desire to be a lifelong learner.
